We are a family-owned full-service commercial truck dealership group with locations across California.

We are a Permanent Controller to join our team in the truck sales industry. This position is for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are passionate about financial management, and have a keen eye for detail. As a Permanent Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading strategic financial planning. This role requires a solid understanding of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. You will be expected to manage all aspects of our accounting operations, including month-end and year-end processes, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all accounting operations, including month-end and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
3. Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly and annual reports, financial statements, and budget variance analyses.
4. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with various department heads to develop realistic and comprehensive financial plans.
5. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, providing recommendations to senior management.
6. Participate in strategic planning, providing insights and financial perspectives to support decision-making.
7. Coordinate and manage financial audits, ensuring all financial information is prepared and presented accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; advanced degree or CPA preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
4. Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
5. Exceptional skills in financial reporting and auditing.
6. Proficient in using accounting software and other related tools.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
8. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
9. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
