Director of Marketing

Position overview:

The director of marketing is responsible for executing a global marketing strategy created by the Executive team in partnership and with input from the director of marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement marketing strategies to create brand awareness, lead generation, and sales revenue.

Customer acquisition and retention: Create and execute integrated direct response strategies to increase engagement, loyalty, acquisition, and revenue through various B2C, B2B, and other efforts, employing direct mail, e-mail, digital advertising/SEO/SEM/PPC, print, traditional advertising, social media, and Public Relations.

Performance monitoring: Report regularly on the performance of all marketing efforts.

Lead, manage, and develop the marketing team; recruit and onboard new team members as needed.

Campaign management: Plan and execute promotional campaigns, new product releases, and seasonal and ad hoc sales.

Content creation: Produce content in line with the company’s brand positioning for all media outlets.

Website and e-commerce: Ensure website and consumer booking engine deliver best-in-class experience; develop and optimize consumer lead generation programs for the outbound sales team and charter team across all relevant touchpoints.

CRM: Complete responsibility of CRM including data collection, accuracy, campaigns, segmentation, lead distribution, and integration with transaction systems.

Budget management: Create and manage marketing budget and allocate accordingly based on performance.

Create and implement drip campaigns and booked guest experiences.

Areas of focus:

Brand awareness, lead management, revenue achievement.

Direct mail collateral: E-mail Marketing, Database Marketing, Marketing analytics.

Digital Marketing: Traditional media/print, product launches, e-commerce.

Brand Management: Strategic planning, Budget management, Revenue management assistance.

Qualifications:

Willing to roll up the sleeves and work alongside the marketing team.

Understanding of all marketing including digital.

Proven experience as a marketing director or similar role.

Excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Strong analytical and creative thinking abilities.

Proficiency in marketing software and tools.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration.

Travel industry experience a plus but not required.

Work Conditions:

Full time, on site in Plantation, Florida.

Salary commensurate with experience.
