Job Summary:AssetWorks is seeking an experienced Product Owner for our industry-leading Fleet management products. We are looking for a results-driven self-starter who will be responsible for overseeing & delivering the timely release of our software products. As a key member of the product development team, you will collaborate cross-functionally across Product Management, UI/UX, Engineering and QA to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. This position will be responsible for driving adherence to agile principals managing release planning and accelerating our innovation to our customers.

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Set user story standards and ensure test and acceptance criteria for themWork with Product Manager and UX to refine user storiesMonitor and enforce Jira HygieneFacilitate feature/bug/tech debt prioritization with Product ManagersFacilitate/ensure yearly, release, and sprint work plansManage backlog continuously prioritizing and adjusting based on business needsRegularly communicate status, escalate issues, and remove blockersEstablish and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs)Act as a Release Manager to help plan releases and ensure timely deliveryRequirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field from an accredited college or university. Asset Management domain knowledge and/or experience working with state and local governments is a plus.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

10 years in enterprise software developmentPrior experience as a product owner, scrum master, or software product managementExperience using Jira to build and track epics and user stories and construct a release pipelineStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.Experience with overseeing CI/CD pipelinesSkilled at collaborating across departments and internal stakeholdersAn ability to drive product decisions often across stakeholders with incomplete informationHave experience with refining development methodologies to improve the delivery and velocity of releases and user storiesMust be able to work with changing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skillsCertified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar certification is a plus.Travel: Less than 10%After-hours work: Some requiredSoft skills
