Position Name: Lead -Unified Communication and NetworkRole: Network & UC Operation LeadLocation: Plainsboro, New JerseyFULL TIMESummaryThe Lead -Unified Communication Network Operations Manager will oversee the operations and management of the organization's unified communication infrastructure, with a specific focus on CiscoWebex (Calling and Contact Center) and SD-WAN technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of network operations, unified communication platforms, and the ability to manage and optimize these systems to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.Key Responsibilities:

Network Operations Management:

Lead the day-to-day operations of the organization's unified communication networks, with an emphasis on Cisco Webex and SD-WAN environments.Monitor and manage network performance, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and availability of all UC systems.Troubleshoot network and UC issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.Oversee network configurations, maintenance, and upgrades related to Cisco Webex and SD-WAN systems.

Unified Communication Systems Management:

Manage the deployment, configuration, and support of Cisco Webex Calling as well as Contact Center SolutionsEnsure the integration and functionality of Cisco Webex within the organization's existing IT infrastructure.Oversee SD-WAN operations, ensuring that the network supports the performance and security requirements of the unified communication systems.Coordinate with vendors and service providers to manage and maintain UC infrastructure.

Collaboration & Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for all Cisco Webex and SD-WAN-related inquiries and escalations.Collaborate with IT and business teams to design and implement UC solutions that meet the organization's needs.Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the performance and status of UC and network systems.

Team & Site Leadership:

Manage a team of network and UC specialists, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development.Manage all site related critical IT/Network/UC/Wi-Fi issues.Establish and enforce operational procedures and best practices for UC and network management.Conduct performance evaluations and manage team workloads to ensure efficient operation.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network & collaboration Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Specialist, etc.) are highly preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network operations and unified communication systems, with specific expertise in Cisco Webex and SD-WAN technologies.Experience working with Service Now ticketing system will be added advantageProven experience in managing and optimizing UC systems and networks, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.Experience in leading and managing technical teams.

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of Cisco Webex calling, contact center solutions is desiredStrong understanding of SD-WAN architecture and its application in supporting UC environments.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network and UC issues.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
