Department Overview:
Playing a pivotal role in the Network Team, accountable for architecting and crafting comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements in support of a given project or capability. Using innovation and creativity, this role will be accountable for partnering with key partners such as Application development teams or other infrastructure functions to build solutions that are aligned to architecture principles, using common solutions and services, and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits) as defined by Technology leadership. If you are a seasoned Networking Leader with a passion for learning, teaching, and solving complex problems, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want you to join our team.
Your Role
Lead a team of 12 engineers and one Associate Manager. Team is globally dispersed and is responsible for the build, support and maintenance of the Networking infrastructureLead through subordinate leaders who execute upon the Network Infrastructure goals and objectivesAccountable for the performance and results of the networking stackExecutes business plans and contributes to the development of the network strategyFocuses on short to mid-term issues that will impact the network or operationDecisions are guided by network strategy and prioritiesYou Will Be Responsible For:
Vendor Management - Maintaining and managing relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely support and license contract renewals.Security Controls - Responsible for ensuring Invesco stays protected from cyberthreatsInfrastructure management

Ensuring all networking hardware undergoes regular maintenance and refreshing networking hardware components that are approaching end of life.Problem Resolution - Escalation point for major incidents, identifying and solving network issues to minimize impact to the business, performing root cause analyses.Strategy and Road mapping - Defining the future state of the network and its services to ensure it supports the growing demands of the business.Team growth and development - Making sure all the members of the team stay abreast of new technologies, upskill where required and continuously developCost Management- managing data-to-day costs of cloud services and general networking investmentsThe Experience You Bring:
10+ years of experience in information technology6+ years of experience in leading a teamProven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network solutions.Experience in implementing and managing network security measuresStrong background in diagnosing and resolving network issues.Experience in managing network projects, including planning, budgetingExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersStrong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments and external partners.Ability to Negotiate with and influences others internally and externally, including senior executives within the Firm and vendors and/or regulatorsFull Time / Part Time
