IT Project Manager
for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ.
The ideal candidate has
8+
years of full-time experience
in Information Technology, particularly specialized in handling PMIS implementation in a construction setting, as well as a
Bachelor's Degree
from an accredited college or university with a major in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related field.This position will be full-time, on-site. Candidates are expected to live in or near the
New York metropolitan
area .
Roles and ResponsibilitiesManage daily project management functions to control scope, schedule, and risk mitigation; ensuring project progression and quality.Handle IT systems implementation and administration.Collaborate with the technical team to provide comprehensive systems support.Track and document crucial project markers to ensure the on-time delivery of IT project goals.Participate in update meetings to relay and address client concerns.Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, and follow through on projects to successful completion.Other related duties and tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree
in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or related required; advanced degree is a plus.Minimum of
8 years
in Information Technology Management, preferably relating to construction.Proficient in eBuilder, Oracle Unifier, and similar PMIS tools.Strong data management skills, with expertise in PowerBI, Access, Excel, and database structures.Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
