Position Information
Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate Business Intelligence Analyst. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into presentation-ready dashboards allowing our customers to make more informed decisions. Your primary responsibilities will involve working across departments to analyze and understand datasets and create product-specific dashboards using our new, modernized technology stack.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
Perform in-depth analysis of data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepanciesCreate visually engaging and user-friendly dashboards using our Business Intelligence application, Sigma ComputingEnsure dashboards effectively communicate key metrics and KPIs related to our productsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data to ensure correct representation of data in dashboardsUtilize best practices in information design and data visualization to present complex information clearly, making it easy for users to understand and act onMaintain data integrity by identifying data quality issues and working with data source teams to remediate issuesStay up to date on industry trends in analyticsMaintain documentation on methodologies and design frameworks to share within the organizationQualifications
Requirements
BS or BA degree recommended1-3 years' experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar roleProficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Sisense, Sigma Computing, etc.Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processesQualifications
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable informationA strong attention to detail specifically in designAbility to write intermediate SQLIntermediate Microsoft Suite skills, particularly ExcelAnalytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication skills - including oral, written & presentationAbility to work well on a team - to offer and receive instructionAbility to multi-taskAbility to be flexible and adaptableAbility to maintain excellent customer serviceAbility to lead, "own," and drive a project or case to completionSelf-starter, high character, accountable, eager to serve, strives for excellenceBenefits
