Forklift Operator Desserts - Geneva, ILAs a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for receiving and storage of raw material, ingredients and finished product, inbound and outbound shipments and production inventory needs.Shift hours:8-hour shifts
1st shift: 6:45 am to 3 pm2nd shift: 2:45 pm to 11 pm3rd shift: 10:45 pm to 7 am
Currently hiring for 2nd and/or 3rd shift (shift is dependent upon business need)Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysPlant operation is 24 hours a day, up to 7 days per weekPay:$20.28 per hour
Additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shiftAdditional $2.00 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift

Safe forklift operation within production/packaging and warehouse operationsSelecting, preparing, and loading products for outbound shipment per customer specificationsResponsible for the storage of raw material, ingredients, finished product and/or miscellaneous supplies/machineryReceiving, unloading, and inspecting inbound materials, ingredients, packaging materials and/or miscellaneous supplies/machineryResponsible for control on sanitation materials, docks and storage locatinsPerforming all required/necessary quality checksCompletion of required documentation in a timely and accurate mannerCleaning and sanitation of work areas and/or equipmentParticipate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performanceAssist in training new employees
What you have to offer:Minimum of a high school diploma or GEDAt least 2 years of Forklift operation experience preferredExperience in warehouse operations and use of WMS preferredForklift and/or other POV license/certification and/or willing to obtain oneExperience in a manufacturing/production/warehouse environment preferredPhysical requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when requiredWilling and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environmentAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditionsWilling to work around industrial high-speed moving machineryAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
