Forklift Driver - Belvidere, ILAs a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for storage of raw material, ingredients and finished product, inbound and outbound shipments and supporting production needs.Shift hours:12-hour shifts

3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off schedule

Day shift: 6:00 am to 6:00 pmNight shift: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am

Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysPlant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a weekPay:$20.40 per hour

Forklift operation within production and warehouse operationsSelecting, preparing, and loading product for outbound shipment per customer specificationsResponsible for the storage of raw material, ingredients or finished productReceiving, unloading, and inspecting inbound ingredients/packaging materialsParticipate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performanceAssist in training new employees

What you have to offer:Minimum of a high school diploma or GEDForklift experience; Forklift license/certification or willing to obtain oneExperience in a manufacturing/production environment preferredPhysical requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when requiredWilling and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environmentAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditionsWilling to work around industrial high-speed moving machineryAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
