Unico is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will be able to spearhead our technological initiatives while also rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.
As an IT Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our entire IT infrastructure, from managing a helpdesk professional to actively managing our cyber security and network administration.This is a player coach role, combining managerial responsibility with hands-on technical expertise, offering a unique opportunity to lead and contribute directly to the success of the organization. This role is based at our corporate office in Seattle in the heart of downtown.

SALARY
Starting at $120,000 - $160,000 annually, for candidates in Washington state.
ABOUT THIS POSITION
The IT Manager will oversee the entire IT infrastructure for Unico.This role will lead a team of 1-2 IT professionals with various specialized skills to improve and maintain essential IT operations. This includes operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, hardware and networking.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiativeEnable faster and smarter business processesLead remediation efforts for gaps in security and networkingHandle business-critical IT tasks and systems administrationEnsure dependable IT infrastructure and networking that's always up and runningPartner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements. Serve as a liaison for non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into actionable insights.Track and maintain hardware and software inventoryDocument internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilitiesPerform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlesslyMaintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, LANs, WANs, and network segmentsPerform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backupsPerform routine administrative tasks related to IT such as purchasing, invoice coding, and submitting expense reportSupport and administer remote locations and employeesABOUT YOU

SKILLS
Proven work experience in IT; preferably in a leadership role.Experience with or knowledge of operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, Active Directory, DNS, virtualization, firewalls, VPN and Office 365.Experience in project management, team leadership and communication required.Experience in IT Managed Services and / or IT for commercial real estate is preferred but not required.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science5+ years' experience supporting hardware, software, network and security in an enterprise environmentADA REQUIREMENTS
