The IT Manager plays a vital role in our organization, responsible for overseeing and managing all information technology systems and infrastructure. This encompasses hardware, software, networks, and security protocols. The focus of the IT Manager is to ensure the efficient operation of our information systems while identifying and implementing strategic technological solutions. A key aspect of this role is cybersecurity, as the IT Manager will oversee the organization's IT infrastructure and ensure that robust security measures are in place.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.Manage IT projects and solutions that align with broader business initiatives.Handle critical IT tasks and systems administration.Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance IT infrastructure and security.Maintain and track hardware and software inventory.Prepare and uphold IT procedures necessary for standard operations.Train and manage IT department staff.Collaborate with Human Resources to define and enforce security policies that protect company data and control access.Review and manage operating costs of IT systems.Maintain open communication with the Managing Director of Operations and support departmental goals.Implement and maintain security policies and best practices to safeguard organizational data and assets.Oversee threat detection and cyber defense operations, staying informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.Respond to and manage security incidents and breaches.Understand and apply relevant ISO standards (ISO 13485, AS9100, ISO 14001) to role responsibilities, contributing to the improvement of the Quality Management System.Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or 10 years of equivalent experience in the IT sector.
