School Based Speech Language Pathologist: Floyd, NM

Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Floyd, NM. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including pediatric and adult clients, and will possess strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals. Provide direct therapy services to clients, either individually or in group settings. Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain timely and accurate documentation. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and other therapists. Educate clients, families, and caregivers on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities. Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field through continuing education and professional development. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure (SLP) in New Mexico and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience working in a clinical setting preferred; new graduates with relevant clinical practicum experience will be considered. Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment, and documentation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
