Nurture Early Voices: Speech-Language Pathologist (Preschool) - Soliant Education (Riverview, DE Area) Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) dedicated to building the foundation for strong communication in young children? Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated SLP to join our team in the Riverview, DE area! This full-time, on-site position for the 2024-2025 school year offers the rewarding opportunity to provide vital services to preschool-aged children with speech and language delays. What You'll Do: Conduct individual and group speech-language evaluations to identify communication needs specific to preschool-aged children. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each child's speech and language goals, focusing on fostering early communication skills and development. Utilize a variety of play-based and developmentally appropriate treatment approaches to address a range of communication disorders commonly seen in preschoolers, such as articulation difficulties, expressive and receptive language delays, and social communication challenges. Collaborate with early childhood educators, paraprofessionals, and parents to create a cohesive approach to supporting each child's communication development in all settings. Monitor children's progress, analyze data, and report on the effectiveness of interventions to inform ongoing therapy plans. Create positive and stimulating learning environments that nurture communication skills, confidence, and social interaction in young children. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology for the preschool population. Qualifications: Delaware State License in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). Prior experience working with preschool-aged children with speech and language impairments, preferably in a school setting, is highly preferred. Strong clinical skills in speech and language assessment, intervention, and program development specifically tailored for preschool-aged children. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with young children, parents, and early childhood educators. Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Understanding of early childhood development as it relates to communication skills. Passion for helping young children overcome speech and language challenges and develop a strong foundation for lifelong communication success.
