Information Technology Support Technician

This position pays between $30/hr to $40/hr.**Only local SF Bay Area residence need apply***Our Professional Services Division here at The Mice Groups is seeking a IT Support Technician for full time opportunity.These positions are expected to be 100% on-site in San Mateo/Redwood City, CA.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and work orders in a courteous manner.Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue.Build rapport and elicit problem details from help desk customers.Maintain excellent customer service over the phone and in personTroubleshooting and performing routine maintenance of workstations and servers remotelyMaintaining a positive attitude and fast-paced, detail-oriented, and multi-tasking work ethicDiagnostics of malfunctioning Apple and Windows hardware and softwareResponding to, detailing work done, and closing remote support ticketsMaintenance and updating of our customer database used in creating service request ordersAssisting customers in purchasing decisions when neededMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentMaintaining a professional image and attitudeSkills Required:4-5 years of IT support experience, in 2-3 different technical environments.Working for an MSP would be ideal, or working for a few different companies.Tier 2 support Experience is a plusMicrosoft / office 365 - office stack / Exchange / Experience with MACs / Phones / Outlook as an application on phones and how to manage phones, policies etc...Pay for this position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Applicants should apply via The Mice Groups Inc. website () or through this careers site posting.We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at The Mice Groups Inc.
