This role will only consider W2 candidates and not C2C candidates.Job SummaryThis role will be an integral part of the Developer Enablement team. A solid candidate for this role will have experience with researching new technologies and frameworks and will identify best practices while implementing tools that help to enable development teams across Henry Schein One.What you will doBuild and maintain backend and frontend services for our developer toolkit that enable productivityParticipate in architectural definitions with a high degree of innovation and creativityProvide recommendations for continuous improvement in software applications by conducting systems analysis and recommending changesDocument and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear codeConduct code reviews and assure adherence to software coding standardsImplement well suited design patterns and mentor other development teams in their useLead development in new technical pursuits and proof of conceptsOther duties as assigned

QualificationsMust haves:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experience8+ years of software engineering in a professional environmentExperience working on proof of concepts projectsJava with Spring and Spring Boot frameworkMicroservice architecture with event sourcingKafka or similar messaging systemsIntelliJ and GitlabExperience with Harness for CI/CDExperience with development in AWSExperience with relational and NoSQL databasesUnderstanding of software deployment to Docker and Kubernetes

Nice to haves:Micro-Frontend (MFE) ArchitectureReactJS or other similar UI frameworks

The posted range for this position is

$96,000 - $168,000

which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a

10% bonus
