LGSTX Services provides Cargo Handling, Ground Service Equipment, Airport Operations and the maintenance service that keeps all of those operational for the air cargo industry. The ARFF Specialist will ensure that emergency equipment is continuously maintained in a high state of readiness; provide currency training as necessary; provides rapid response to emergencies; provides first aid to ARFF victims as necessary. Performs other duties as necessary. Minimum Qualifications: HS Diploma or GED 3rd shift position (6pm-4am 4 days per week) Posses a valid drivers license and be able to pass an MVR background check Certified EMT B Certified Ohio Firefighter I or II Ability to complete ARFF course Ability to pass a Medical Pulmonary Function test and annual OSHA physical Ability to bend, stoop and manipulate tools n tight spaces Work in adverse outdoor weather conditions Wear respirator safety equipment as indicated Lift objects weighing up to 65 pounds Posses excellent communication skills Perform work at heights Preferred Skills: Prefer certification as a First Aid and CPR instructor 1 year experience responding to medical emergencies Experience in the testing and inspection of building sprinkler and alarm systems per NFPA standards Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
