Associate Attorney

with

1-5 years of litigation experience

and an active

Texas law license . The role involves managing litigation cases and attending hearings, with some

local travel

required. The firm offers a

Manage a caseload of

litigation cases , handling all aspects of litigation from

discovery

through

trial .Attend

hearings

and

court proceedings

across the local area, requiring some

local travel .Conduct

legal research

and draft legal documents, including

pleadings ,

motions , and

briefs .Participate in

settlement negotiations ,

mediations , and

arbitrations , aiming to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Represent clients in

court appearances , advocating for their interests in various litigation matters.Maintain regular

client communication , providing updates on case progress and legal strategies.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure thorough case management and compliance with court deadlines.Stay updated on relevant legal precedents, state laws, and court rulings to provide clients with current legal advice.Requirements:

1-5 years of litigation experience

handling a variety of civil or commercial cases.Licensed to practice law in Texas

and in good standing with the

Texas State Bar .Strong

oral and written communication skills , with the ability to advocate effectively in court and draft high-quality legal documents.Ability to manage multiple litigation cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel locally to attend hearings and court proceedings.Education:

Juris Doctor (JD)

degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the

Texas State Bar

is required.Certifications (Preferred):

Certification or coursework in

litigation

or

trial advocacy

is beneficial but not required.Key Skills:

Expertise in

litigation , including discovery, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy.Strong

research ,

writing , and

oral advocacy skills .Time management

and

organizational skills , with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.Client communication

and

negotiation skills
