ECM Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Content Management (ECM) - Senior Software Engineering Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ECM technologies, including FileNet, OpenText, Case Manager, IBM Business Automation Workflow, DocVault, DocuSign etc. This role will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of our ECM solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our organization and align with industry standards.

What you'll do:
  • Review software requirements efficiently.
  • Build architectural diagrams / design documents.
  • Establish and follow coding standards.
  • Debug and unit test the code.
  • Perform peer code reviews.
  • Mentor junior resources.
  • Lead development efforts for document management and imaging solutions in a cloud environment.
  • Provide SME level-consultation with project team and end users.


What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Deep knowledge of data modelling
  • Minimum 5 years' ECM experience with well-known ECM technologies (IBM FileNet, OpenText, Documentum, SharePoint, Xerox ... etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in SQL query language
  • Agile software development, including the use of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Lead and perform hands on technical implementation of an Enterprise Content Management solution.
  • Lead development efforts for document management and imaging solutions in a cloud environment.
  • Ability to integrate the ECM components with other line of business applications such as Guidewire.
  • Domain knowledge on Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in software engineering
  • Experience across multiple technologies within ECM, BPM or content & document management solutions will be highly beneficial (e.g. OpenText, Hyland, IBM FileNet, EMC Documentum, Oracle, Perceptive, Saperion, ELO Digital, SER Solutions, EASY Software, Microsoft SharePoint, Alfresco, M-Files, Dropbox, Box, Kofax, K2, Bizagi, Tibco, Pega, Appian etc.)
  • Experience implementing, integrating, migrating, and supporting enterprise-level content management solutions for millions of records and documents
