is looking for a skilled Warehouse Material Handler to join our team. Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for accurately picking orders with the use of an RF scanner, securely packaging them, and shipping packages in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity.

1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm Starting at $17.50/HR.

Effectively utilize RF scanners to select customers' orders for shipping, ensuring accurate selection of the right quantity and type of products.Operate equipment including

(Forklifts, Pallet Jacks and Hand Trucks)

safely to transport items from storage areas to appropriate staging area.Mark and label all orders as required.Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.Perform various other duties and assignments as requested by management to assist the operation and overall functioning of the department and company.Qualifications:

Experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment.Forklift experience a plus.Initiative-taking with the ability to work independently and effectively as a team member, assisting supervisor and other employees in a positive and initiative-taking manner.Ability to meet physical demands of the job - capable of maneuvering and lifting 50 lbs. and/or occasionally maneuvering up to 75 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods of time, and ability to often stoop, kneel or crouch.Effective communication skills.Ability to work overtime and Saturdays during peak selling times.Prior experience with RF scanner is preferred but not required.Ability to read and understand customer orders and other paperwork.Computer skills a plus.
