Job Overview:Seeking a full-time Bankruptcy Attorney with experience in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases to join an established law firm based in Cincinnati, OH. The firm has been serving clients for over 32 years and is looking for a motivated attorney to manage bankruptcy cases at the Eastern Cincinnati office, with occasional travel to the Middletown satellite office. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with expertise in bankruptcy law and an active Ohio Bar license. The firm may consider part-time arrangements for the right candidate.Duties:
Handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases from start to finish.Meet with clients to assess their financial situations and provide legal guidance on bankruptcy options.Prepare and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and other necessary documents.Represent clients in bankruptcy court, attending hearings and creditor meetings.Communicate with creditors, trustees, and other stakeholders to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.Advise clients on asset protection, debt management, and financial restructuring.Stay updated on bankruptcy laws and changes in regulations affecting clients.Requirements:
Experience:
Proven experience handling Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.Ability to manage multiple bankruptcy cases independently.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Active admission to the Ohio Bar (required).Skills:
Proficiency in legal research and drafting bankruptcy petitions.Excellent client management and communication skills.Ability to handle a high volume of bankruptcy cases efficiently.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
