A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a talented Bankruptcy Attorney to join their team, providing expertise in navigating complex bankruptcy proceedings and restructurings for a diverse client base.Job Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis pertaining to bankruptcy laws, regulations, and case precedents.Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as bankruptcy petitions, motions, pleadings, and agreements.Participate in bankruptcy hearings, mediations, and negotiations with creditors and stakeholders.Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on bankruptcy strategies, risk management, and compliance issues.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions tailored to client needs.Stay current with developments in bankruptcy law and industry trends to effectively advise clients.Requirements:Admission to the State Bar in California.2-5 years of experience practicing bankruptcy law at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.Strong understanding of bankruptcy laws, including Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 7 liquidations, and bankruptcy litigation.Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Skills:Proficiency in bankruptcy law and procedure.Legal document drafting and review.Strategic legal advice and risk management.Courtroom and negotiation skills.Interdisciplinary collaboration.Industry and regulatory knowledge in bankruptcy.
