Bankruptcy Partner

A law firm in Denver, CO, is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Partner to lead its bankruptcy practice group. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in bankruptcy law and will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, overseeing bankruptcy proceedings, and providing strategic legal counsel.Duties:Lead and manage the bankruptcy practice group, providing strategic direction and oversight.Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on bankruptcy matters.Handle a diverse caseload of bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 proceedings.Provide expert legal counsel on bankruptcy reorganizations, liquidations, and debt restructuring.Represent debtors, creditors, and other parties in bankruptcy proceedings and related litigation.Negotiate and draft bankruptcy-related agreements, including reorganization plans and creditor settlements.Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.Requirements:Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing bankruptcy law, preferably within a reputable law firm.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Colorado State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Proven track record of successfully managing complex bankruptcy matters and client relationships.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in mentoring junior attorneys.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Colorado State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Skills:In-depth knowledge of bankruptcy law principles and practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to provide strategic legal counsel and negotiate favorable outcomes for clients.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Leadership and teamwork skills to effectively manage a bankruptcy practice group and collaborate with other practice areas within the firm.
