A law firm in Denver, CO, seeks an experienced Corporate Partner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate law and will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, overseeing corporate transactions, and providing strategic legal counsel.
Duties:
Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on corporate legal matters.
Lead and manage corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
Provide strategic guidance to clients on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
Draft and negotiate complex corporate agreements, including shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, and commercial contracts.
Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff within the corporate practice group.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing corporate law, preferably within a reputable law firm.
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Colorado State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
A proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of corporate clients and transactions.
Strong business acumen and ability to understand the commercial objectives of clients.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate leadership abilities and experience in mentoring junior attorneys.
Education:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to the Colorado State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
Skills:
Extensive knowledge of corporate law principles and practices.
Proficiency in drafting and negotiating corporate agreements.
