Role Summary:
Assists in purchasing materials, supplies and services at the most favorable terms for the organization. Qualifies vendors, evaluates bids, and negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and services. Tracks purchases, monitors vendor quality, and maintains a current database of vendor information.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities expected of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Monitor Inventory LevelsMaintain Inventory Levels so that they remain consistent with Company goals and Customer needsNegotiate programs and pricing with VendorsTrack Vendor orders until they arrive at WLCResolve shipping errors (damage, incorrect quantities, etc.)Create and track Supplier ReturnsReview Vendor confirmations to ensure correct quantities, items, and pricingCommunicate with Inventory Specialist to facilitate Inventory AdjustmentsAttend all relevant meetingsParticipate in scheduled Full Inventory EventsCommunicate with Accounts Payable when Vendor invoices are in conflict with our Stock ReceiptsMaintain Item Descriptions in BisTrackCommunicate to Sales when we add, delete, or change SKU'sPosition Qualifications:
Proven Experience as a Purchasing Agent role or relevant roleWorking Knowledge of MS OfficeExcellent communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAnalytical mindsetAbility to understand and work with all Departments within the CompanyEducation and Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalentCollege degree in related field is preferred1-4 years' experience as a Buyer or related fieldPhysical Requirements:
Sit, Stand, frequentlyAdapt to various environments including production
You will be expected to follow any other job related instructions and to perform other job related duties as requested by management.
