Team members have the opportunity to work at the forefront of technology innovation alongside industry leaders and make significant contributions to the field.The storage engineering team is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle, including analysis, evaluation, design, testing, integration and sustained engineering of cloud storage products for the firm's huge private and public cloud deployments.As a Cloud Storage Engineer, you will be designing and implementing the next generation storage systems for the firm's huge private and public cloud deployments, with specific focus on file storage services.How you will fulfill your potentialEngineer and deploy next generation of high performant and resilient file storage to meet the business needs.Enable cloud journey for our business partners by understanding their storage requirements and providing appropriate solutions in both external and internal cloud.RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:Basic QualificationsBetween 3-5 years of experience in cloud storage systems for file (such as NetApp, Dell Unity)Good understanding of NAS protocols (NFS and SMB)You are competent in Linux/UNIX-like operating systems, I/O and network stack tuning, and performance profiling.You understand how to deliver reliable services out of unreliable componentsFamiliar with DevOps tools and version control systems (SVN, Git)Experience with engineering and operating a hybrid cloud delivery model with focus on data coherency between on-prem and off-prem components.Strong analytical, problem solving, and trouble shooting skillsDesire to learn new technologiesPreferred QualificationsProficiency with Python, Bash or other scripting languages with a focus on testing and sound SDLC practices.Familiarity with hyperscalers (AWS, GCP, and Azure)Beneficial, but not required, experience in block storage (Dell, Hitachi, HPE), object (AWS S3, Dell ECS), and/or backup solutions (Networker, DataDomain, Cohesity).Familiarity with Elastic Search and Kibana
