As an IT Business Systems Analyst III, you will act as a liaison between IT and the business to ensure an understanding of business requirements when crafting and implementing new IT systems and improving existing systems!

Responsibilities/Expectations:Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the design and implementation of new systems and improvement of existing systemsServes as the subject matter specialist and business partner between IT and business/end-user team(s)Translates business requirements into technical specifications to formulate technical solutions that conform to operational standardsConducts requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and provides recommendations based on collected informationEnsures the maintenance, development and enhancement of existing application systems meet the organizational business objectives and IT standardsRemediates application system issues through appropriate troubleshooting, incident, change and problem management standards using ServiceNowEvaluates, develops and implements new application systems and develops technical requirements following standards for software development lifecycleConducts business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align IT solutions with business initiativesApplies business analysis and critical thinking skills to improve business processes, application support delivery and servicesLeads various sized projects, including budgeting, reporting, partner management, and conducting impact analysisOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:

Required: High school diploma or GED and a minimum twelve (12) years' IT experience, OR Associate's degree and a minimum eight (8) years' IT experience, OR Bachelor's degree in IT-related field and a minimum five (5) years' IT experienceOther Requirements:

General understanding of project management and willingness to further develop project management skills on small to medium size projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to tackle problems and offer solutions to improve performance, efficiency, and safetyExperience in the energy industryPreferred: Experience working with Safety, Environmental and/or Operational processes and systemsPreferred: Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Power Automate, Azure (DevOps) and Oracle Financials Cloud (BlueCast forecast tool, Projects, and Innovation Management)Preferred: Prior experience with Process Improvement/Lean and agile project deliveryDemonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skillsAbout Tulsa:
