About the role
We are currently looking for a mainframe advisor to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our mainframe infrastructure to ensure it meets the needs of our business operations.

About the role
We are currently looking for a mainframe advisor to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our mainframe infrastructure to ensure it meets the needs of our business operations.
What you'll do here:
- Support and administrate z/OS system
- Support and secure the mainframe accesses
- RACF (resource access and control facility)
- Configuration and administration of z/Secure.
- Maintain all components, including network definitions, security, etc.
- Support and administrate CICS environment, working collaboratively with software engineering.
- Help supporting the mainframe storage administration (Hitachi SAN, Luminex Tape management)
- Identify and create advanced application monitoring (i.e., ELK) for improved reliability.
- To be part of On-Call rotation (24/7/365 Operation)
What you bring to the table:
- 10 or more years of proven experience in mainframe system administration .
- Experience in authoring automation scripts for mainframe components (REXX, Clist, Pannels, SAS, Assembler, COBOL).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Omegamon,
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence.
- Experience with Jenkins.
- Experience with Gitlab, Github or any other public repositories.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
