Job Description
In order to properly support our operations in an international scope, we are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Accountant who will be responsible of the financial accounting and month-end tasks for the North American entities and support our consolidation operations. Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining high quality financial information and contribute to the evolution of our processes and controls to support the growth of the Group.

As a Senior Corporate Accountant your key accountabilities will involve:
Qualifications
As a Senior Accountant your experience and qualifications will include:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Accounting certification CPA or equivalent
• 5 years of financial accounting experience in a multinational environment, with multi-currency and intercompany transactions
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS or ASPE
• Experience in consolidation
• Experience with inventory accounting, an asset
• Experience using an ERP, D365 is an asset
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel
• Detail oriented and analytical
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic and collaborative environment
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
• Bilingual - Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written, Spanish an asset.

As a Senior Corporate Accountant your key accountabilities will involve:
- Maintain and reconcile financial transactions for the Canadian, US and Mexican entities applying ASPE standards:
- Document, investigate and resolve any discrepancies using the proper tools
- Prepare and post journal entries of month-end closing process accurately and timely
- Reconcile and analyse P&L accounts relating to financial accounting
- Lead inventory tracking, reconciliation and reporting
- Participate in payroll entries and reconciliation of the payroll accounts of the North American entities bi-monthly
- Support the Assistant Corporate Controller with the monthly consolidation process
- Participate in the investigation and documentation of the subsidiaries' unusual transactions
- Coordinate the consolidation of the Asia region's entities
- Participate in the month-end close of non-operating companies of the Group
- Participate to the analysis and documentation of complex accounting transactions
- Participate in the optimization and improvement of the accounting function:
- Documentation and standardization of accounting policies
- Month-end process and control improvements
- Support the treasury function
- Prepare the year-end audit requests and support the audit processes
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
- Assist with the annual insurance renewal process
- Support any adhoc project requests.
Qualifications
As a Senior Accountant your experience and qualifications will include:
