POSITION PURPOSE
As an Inside Sales and Estimating Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through effective management of the inside sales team. You will be responsible for overseeing the sales process, nurturing leads, and ensuring exceptional customer service to maintain and expand our customer base. You will also be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for Design/Build & Plan/Spec of Commercial HVAC construction projects. This includes calculations for AC & Heat loads, ventilation in a warehouse (exhaust fans & louvers), frost protection heaters and sizing of ductwork. You will work closely with the project management team to ensure that all estimates align with project requirements and budgetary constraints. Additionally, you will collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure that all materials and labor costs are accurately estimated. This position is based out of Nashville.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the Inside Sales Team to achieve sales plans and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for senior management.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for large scale HVAC projects, Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine project requirements and develop comprehensive estimates.
- Develop professional proposals and bid packages that clearly outline project scope, pricing, and terms. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and provide customized solutions.
- Oversee all aspects of project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, resource allocation, and subcontractor management. Monitor project progress, track expenses, and implement corrective actions to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate project updates, address client inquiries and concerns, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure workmanship, materials, and installations meet industry standards, codes, and client specifications. Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project execution and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and other adverse impacts.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all project team members and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in estimating and project management within the construction industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
