The mission of the E-Commerce team is to build a best-in-class self-service offering enabling every business to seamlessly start using Box and realize the full potential of our product. We operate as a high-velocity, cross-functional business unit to innovate and elevate all of our our revenue-generating flows like sign ups, upgrades and seat purchases. Our dedicated team of engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts work on a wide variety of projects that are measured by their impact to Box's bottom line, driving large impact and visibility throughout the business. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about owning and driving projects end-to-end, collaborating with stakeholders across the business, and delivering a delightful experience to our customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own projects across the stack (DB to UI/UX), from investigation to implementation to testing to release.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain our e-commerce applications, ensuring they are fast, responsive, and user-friendly.
- Collaborate with teammates to foster strong engineering principles and represent our engineering values.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align on requirements and understand how your work will impact the business.
- Assess, communicate and complete project milestones with manager and team members in a time sensitive manner
- Investigate the technical feasibility of project requirements and propose innovative solutions
WHO YOU ARE
Required skills
- You are passionate about building delightful customer-facing experiences.
- You have a deep understanding of algorithms, data structures and software design.
- You have 6+ years of full-stack software development industry experience.
- You have 4+ years of experience with the front-end technology stack (Javascript - React, HTML, CSS)
- You have experience with automated testing principles and frameworks
- You mentor junior engineers on best practices, coding standards, and complex technical issues
Preferred skills
- Experience integrating GraphQL into a technology stack
- Experience working with distributed teams in different time zones
