We're looking for you to join our team as a Senior Accountant, Private Enterprise Core Services in Vaughan, ON.

Helping our clients to succeed is our bottom line. In addition to providing our clients with assurance, accounting, and tax services, we work with other members of our firm to offer a wide range of services.

As the Senior Accountant, you will conduct compilation and review engagements, prepare year-end adjusting entries and bookkeeping, and handle corporate, personal, and other tax returns. You will lead field engagement teams, coach and mentor junior staff, and perform complex accounting analyses. Additionally, you will develop and maintain client relationships, providing high-value services to help companies assess risk and ensure operational transparency.

Requirements
  • Self-Identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit
  • Strong oral/written communication skills
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Post graduate experience with a public accounting firm
  • General understanding of the Accounting Cycle, General Ledgers and Account Posting
  • Ability to work within a team or independently
  • Experience with ASPE
  • Experience working with accounting and tax software
  • Able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Excellent client service skills and ability to holistically understand a client's needs
  • Strong leadership skills and experience
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
