Are you a First Nations, Metis, or Inuit professional who is passionate about collaboration and Human Resources?

We're looking for you to join our team as a HR Consultant - Business Enablement Services in select locations across Turtle Island (Canada).

As a Consultant, you'll be joining our National HR team in a managerial role, supporting the HR Business Partner (HRBP) in executing people initiatives for National Centres & Business Enablement Services. In this role, you will help deliver our Business Enablement vision and foster a "How can I help you?" service culture. We are looking for someone who brings fresh ideas and innovative thinking to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Implement talent strategies and support HR processes like engagement initiatives, pay planning, and talent reviews
  • Build relationships with leaders and support them in executing HR programs
  • Develop and implement employee engagement plans based on qualitative data
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives and collaborate with Centres of Excellence
  • Address sensitive employee issues and assist with HR research, data analysis, and presentations
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives


This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will be required to support and collaborate with English-speaking colleagues as this role supports Business Enablement Services nationally.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $69,000 to $110,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.

Requirements
  • Self-Identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit
  • Strong oral/written communication skills
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in Human Resources or a related field
  • Experience in Human Resources in a fast-paced, corporate environment
  • Strong business insight with a proven ability to manage competing priorities for multiple stakeholders
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent proficiency with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
