Team Profile:
Technology Risk's (Tech Risk) mandate is to enable the Firm to manage its technology related risks. The department executes the first line of defense technology risk management capabilities and implements proactive, comprehensive, and consistent risk management practices across the Firm.
Tech Risk protects the Firm's information, systems, and infrastructure from cyber and insider threats; ensures the secure and stable delivery of services to our clients; and adjusts to risks presented by an evolving threat landscape. The department delivers a range of operational capabilities, as well as suite of advanced detection, monitoring and analytics, and also provides expert advice on secure design and development and control effectiveness. Tech Risk manages responses to regulatory and client inquiries about the Firm's technology environment and ensures Technology divisions meet governance and oversight obligations along all lines of defense, driving material and measurable risk reduction. Tech Risk maintains strategic relationships with external entities, both public and private, to facilitate information sharing and innovation in financial services, technology, and government, and is also responsible for building risk education and security awareness programs to increase vigilance across the Firm.
Position Description:
The Information Controls technology team, under Non-Financial Risk Technology group, builds and executes complex surveillance models and scenarios that focuses on monitoring and enforcing the firm's information barriers. We are seeking a passionate hands-on senior full stack developer with strong technical skills in both front-end and back-end development used by our dynamic, fast paced technology team.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven, dedicated individual who can work well with both technical and non-technical audiences. You will be responsible for providing a reliable, robust, scalable, high-performance system by maintaining and evolving the application. In addition, the candidate should respond well to change and quickly pick up new concepts, as well as devising new approaches for solving challenges in the space. Technical and analytics skills combined with strong interpersonal skills are required.
Responsibilities:
• Work with stake holders/developers/users to understand and maintain existing application platform design & architecture, components, and dependencies.
• Support existing application platform and development of new functionalities.
• Write unit test cases to support modifications.
• Work on automated UI and service layer testing.
• Work with team to resolve any application related issues.
• Continuously Improve application performance, reliability, stability, and resiliency.
• Work closely with global team.
Qualifications:
Skills Required:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java, spring Boot, Spring MVC and hibernate
• Strong hands-on front-end skills with experience in HTML, CSS, and Angular framework
• Experience in database like MS SQL server, DB2 or Postgre
• Experience in Microservices architecture and cloud enabled application
• Experience in Agile development lifecycle
• Experience in writing unit test case
• Linux / Unix
• Strong oral and written communication skill
Skill Desired:
• Experience working with QA automation tools including Cypress, Cucumber, Selenium
• Unix OS, Scripting, Python or Perl
• ElasticSearch
