Team Profile:

The Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Department forms the second line of defense for management of the firm's non-financial risks, which include Financial Crimes, market manipulation or abuse and Operational risk.

NFR Data & Analytics is a function in the Legal and Compliance Division responsible for designing and optimizing surveillance models, approaches and tools using advanced analytical techniques like supervised and unsupervised machine learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and evolving techniques like graph analytics. The surveillances and other tools help identify suspicious and/or illegal behaviors like money laundering, market manipulation, insider trading, unfair sales or trading practices and other financial crimes.

Position Description:

The Program Manager will be part of the Analytics solutions team in NFR Data & Analytics. The role will manage analytics and quantitative initiatives across the department. It will require managing the user requirement intake process, evaluating potential solutions and identification of critical path dependencies, and working with governance forums to prioritize initiatives. This may require preparing governance meetings, running scrum calls, and managing backlogs for projects, resolve any issues or dependencies and report on project updates.

The individual will work in a dynamic environment with a range of stakeholders, data architects to ensure best in class data infrastructure, technology teams to implement solutions, and subject matter experts for user requirements, testing and signoffs. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex business requirements with multiple stakeholders across regions.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage the Analytics solutions intake proce
• Evaluate potential solutions and keep track dependencies for successful execution
• Make prioritization recommendations to the relevant governance forum
• Act as a scrum master on specific project
• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior executive
• Provide periodic updates to relevant governance forum
• Measure ROI and value delivered
• Keep abreast of industry standards and regulatory trend

Qualifications:

Skills Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 6+ years' experience in Project Management or Business Analysis, preferably in financial industry
• Experience building narratives and communicating to senior stakeholder
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work with global, cross-functional team

Skills Desired:
• Experience conducting business analysis in Capital/Regulatory project
• Understanding of Capital markets, listed derivatives, and fixed income instruments a plu
• Experience with Agile methodology a plu
• Experience with business analysis tools like Tableau, Alteryx
