BKM Capital Partners is a growing firm looking for driven entrepreneurial professionals who are passionate about their work and excited for a new challenge. Located in our Newport Beach, California office, the Senior Analyst, Corporate FP&A, will play an integral role in the company. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Finance & Accounting, this position will assist with financial analysis and modeling to help make strategic decisions by leveraging data analytics.

Essential Functions:
Financial Planning &Analysis
- Prepare, maintain, and forecast corporate cash flows
- Assist with departmental budget projections, including budget-to-actual analysis
- Lead corporate profitability analysis, including scenario modeling to aid in strategic decision making
- Calculate returns, performance metrics and revenue yields
- Leverage data analytics software (Alteryx) to streamline financial analysis
- Collaborate with various departments, including Fund Finance, Treasury and Accounting to produce detailed financial planning packages
- Prepare cash forecasting, including liquidity analysis
- Complete ad hoc analysis for our Executive team relating to acquisitions, dispositions, and new ventures
Reporting:
- Create and present performance reporting, including bottom-line analysis
- Prepare various financial reports incorporating capital activity (capital calls and distributions)
- Produce joint venture financial reports based on new and existing term sheets
- Construct detailed corporate fair valuation reports
- Prepare and present corporate performance dashboards
The Qualifiers:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related degree is required. Master's degree is a plus.
- Advanced financial planning and analysis, including financial modeling required.
- Advanced Excel capabilities are required. Data analytics software or excel macro experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated independent thinker with a results-driven work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong team player.
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
