Senior Financial Analyst , Financial Planning & Analysis

The Opportunity

Provide financial planning and analytical support to all Business Partners including variance analysis, reporting, identification of risks and opportunities

The Role

  • Prepare monthly reporting packages of the company's financial performance versus budget and forecast including updating the full-year forecast on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide support for the annual planning and budgeting process.
  • Perform analysis and prepare recommendations to assist with closing the gap between the business performance and strategic objectives. Support future initiatives and the strategic plan process.
  • Consult management in understanding their monthly, quarterly and annual results in detail by identifying trends and anomalies.
  • Prepare financial and operational KPI reporting to senior leadership and provide data-driven insights in support of the decision-making process.
  • Support the annual Strategic Plan process by maintaining and developing financial models and preparing presentations.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis on an as needed basis, weekly, monthly & quarterly. Recommend and maintain KPI reporting were applicable.
  • Special projects, reports and other duties as assigned
  • Contribute to the team's strong collaborative culture by developing strong cross-functional partnerships and relationships to support initiatives and by fostering a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging.


The Candidate

Education:University Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent;

Work Experience: 3-5 years

Knowledge:Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Experience in financial modeling and financial planning and analysis. Knowledge of Vena is an asset
