Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Strategy:
- Work with the senior team to develop and implement the company's commercial strategy to drive growth and profitability across the full suite of services that the company provides.
- Identify new business opportunities, industry verticals and partnerships to expand market presence.
- Provide oversight of the Commercial teams to ensure accountability and visibility of their efforts, ensuring that they are contributing to the overall Commercial Strategy.
- Business Development:
- Lead business development efforts to acquire new clients, customers, and partners.
- Implement a cohesive account management strategy, complete with a road map for account management.
- Negotiate and close strategic partnerships and contracts with existing and new clients.
- Drive revenue generation to achieve sales targets by developing a cohesive sales team that has clear expectations and deliverables.
- Marketing Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to support business objectives.
- Drive brand awareness and through effective marketing campaigns, industry events and industry organizations.
- Utilize market research to identify trends and opportunities where we can maximize our return on investment for our marketing efforts.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing commercial and marketing team in accordance with the overall company objectives.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team to create a results driven sales organization.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with operations, finance, vertical VPs and other departments to closely align commercial and marketing strategies.
- Ensure seamless integration and coordination of Commercial strategies across the organization to achieve company goals.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for commercial and marketing activities.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to achieve targets and goals.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans that have led to revenue growth and market expansion.
- Familiarity with industry trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong track record of collaborating with other executives to align sales and marketing strategies with overall business goals.
- Proven experience in negotiation and relationship management with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is Business Administration, Marketing Sales, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in a senior management position, preferably as a VP or Director of Sales and Marketing.
