About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Financial Planning and analysis (FP&A) to lead our FP&A team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the company's financial strategy by providing comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. As the Director of FP&A, you will work closely with the CFO and other senior executives to support strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health and growth of the organization while guiding and empowering a team to do what they do best.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Financial Planning and analysis (FP&A) to lead our FP&A team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the company's financial strategy by providing comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. As the Director of FP&A, you will work closely with the CFO and other senior executives to support strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health and growth of the organization while guiding and empowering a team to do what they do best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Forecasting:
- Oversee the development and management of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes
- Provide accurate and timely financial projections and analysis to support business planning.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, to the CFO and senior management.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to track financial performance.
- Strategic Financial Support:
- Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and long-term financial planning
- Work hand-in-hand with RevOps and our CRO to build a comprehensive bookings model and accurate sales capacity plan
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions, including investment appraisals and cost-benefit analyses.
- Prepare monthly reporting packages for the Executive Team and other business leaders, including full financial statements, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, operational Dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, actual versus budget variances, and comprehensive executive-level explanations of differences
- Assist in board-level reports and presentations
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously improve financial planning processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy and implement best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant data and insights for financial planning and analysis.
- Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least two years in a leadership role.
- Previous accounting experience with a strong understanding of the partnership between FP&A and Accounting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, business acumen, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Experience in the SaaS industry
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI tools).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
