The Role:

The role of the Business Operations Manager will be helping to manage and drive a number of strategic initiatives and planning cadences for the Tech Ops & Program Management group within the new Business Operations team. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects on behalf of the centralized Business Operations group, as well as assisting in the operational function of our Technology group. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, product management, product marketing, and operations to ensure collaboration within, and effective delivery of, projects like our company Product Development Process. Your comfortability navigating critical organizational tools like JIRA, combined with strong project management and communication skills, will be critical in driving the success of these initiatives.

How You Will Make an Impact:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and risk management, for key operational projects like our company-wide Product Development Process and our company Hackathon. Lead the execution of projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met
  • Technical (Tooling) Maintenance: Help to maintain use of tooling like JIRA for our technology teams to enable strategic planning, software capitalization, etc.
  • Operational Strategy: Act as a thought-partner to Business Operations and Program Management to ensure effective delivery of operational strategy (ex. Communications strategy, management of operational cadences, etc.)
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and clear communication
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure expectations are met
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects meet quality standards and comply with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
What You Bring to The Team:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience); PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects
  • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA)
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize project outcomes
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive organizational change
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements

Pay Transparency. DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
