Summary: The Continuous Process Improvement Analyst will assist the business with the identification, analysis, documentation, and implementation of process improvement projects. This position will also focus on increasing productivity, reducing waste, improving efficiencies and simplifying processes aligned with corporate strategy.
This role may be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match the needs and role requirements.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree or at least 3-5 years Continuous Improvement experience in DMAIC, DFSS, Kaizen, Value Stream, or other relevant methodologies. Experience in one or more of the following fields a plus: Banking, Data analytics, project management, or business administration.
Certifications, Licenses and/or registrations:
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification highly desired

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Lead and analyze process improvement initiatives across the bank to deliver efficiencies and optimize results for our communities, customers and associates.
- Investigate issues, complaints, suggestions and shortfalls in current business processes
- Ensure that all projects/initiatives are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget following the continuous process improvement lifecycle
- Identify and present CPI opportunities to management team using clear data, visuals and insight on decision making
- Lead process improvement exercises including, but not limited to, process mapping, root cause analysis, data collection, baseline measurement, and gap analysis.
- Create project roadmaps, define tollgates, drive standard operating procedure creation and help set critical metrics for measurable business processes.
- Maintain project/initiatives documentation, including, but not limited to, proposals, charter, scope, project plans, training plans, mapping, communication plan, checklists, risk assessments, authorizations and proposed procedures.
- Build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties with various viewpoints, educating teams on CPI principles as needed
- Proactively escalate anticipated project delays, budget issues and other potential threats to projects/initiatives
- Attend conferences and training as required to maintain expertise
- Other projects and responsibilities may be at added at the managers discretion
- Completes all yearly compliance training and testing and complies with bank, federal, and state regulations. Complies with Bank Policies and Procedures. Adheres to departmental and bank-wide service standards.

Skills needed:
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, etc.
- Has a working knowledge of sound continuous process improvement methodologies to assess, monitor and enhance business performance of an organization.
- Understands business processes and financials and has the ability to quantify efficiencies and implement optimization
- Must have excellent documentation skills, demonstrated record of following through on commitments, and leading and supporting successful projects.
- Able to work independently to successfully complete bank initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Able to interpret large sets of data and make valuable conclusions based on findings
- Individual should have a strong ability to influence others.
- Comfortable questioning process and offering ideas
- A strong sense of ownership, accountability, ability to work independently, and a desire to understand our customer
