Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the skilled trades industry. Utilize networking, cold calling, and industry events to generate leads and build a strong client base.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their staffing needs and providing tailored solutions that deliver results.
- Oversee client accounts to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and provide ongoing support to maintain strong, long-term partnerships.
- Work closely with recruiters and other team members to align business development efforts with staffing capabilities and client expectations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to create and implement strategies that drive growth and increase market share in the skilled trades sector.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Communicate back to internal groups the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group, i.e. clear details, critical timeframes and expectations.
- Possess a firm understanding of SitePro services.
- Establish and maintain on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems. Participate in site visits.
- Handle objections and use sales strategy/technique to match customer needs to our solutions.
- Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team.
- Supports and executes the mission, ethics, and goals of the company effectively.
- Represents themselves in a positive and professional manner in the company and community.
- Adheres to dress code with a clean and neat professional appearance.
- Reports on time and as scheduled to complete work within designated time.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in Employee Handbook, Employee Agreement, or communicated from executive team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within skilled trades or light industrial.
- Ability to work independently in fast-past environment.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
- Meet metrics, targets and quotas established by Senior Leadership.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively manage client relationships.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Honest, high level of work ethic and integrity, assertive and strong desire to succeed.
