About The Job
The People andOrganization Partner(P&O) (Human Resources Business Partner) works in closecollaboration with the North American P&O team and company business leadersto implement P&O related projects and initiatives. Reporting into the NorthAmerica P&O Business Partner Director, this role has a significant focus onEmployee Relations and P&O projects and will also provide insight andsolutions that add value to advance the retention and engagement objectives ofBrightly Software. The right candidate will add value by conductinginvestigations and recommending solutions to various and complex issues. What You'll BeDoing:
• Inalignment with the Brightly employment lifecycle (from onboarding throughdeparture), implement and educate mid-level management on P&O bestpractices
• Actas a consultant to functional business partners, understanding their businessneeds to deliver complementary people solutions aligned with a pay forperformance culture
• Serveas the first point of contact for employee relations issues. Address andresolve requests, concerns, and inquiries
• Participatein internal investigations when complaints or concerns are brought forth.Escalate complex issues to P&O leadership as appropriate
• Conductall North American exit interviews and facilitate follow-up feedback andcoaching sessions with management. Escalate constructive feedback to P&O orbusiness leadership when needed
• Communicatekey themes from exit interviews and employee interactions to theP&O team to inform employee engagement work and opportunityareas
• Partnerclosely with Managers navigating Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) andWarnings, offering templates, guidance, and recommendations throughout theprocess
• Assistin the development and implementation of personnel, compliance and leavepolicies and procedures with a keen eye for simplifying HR jargon for employeeconsumption
• Workclosely with the Brightly Benefits Analyst in the administration of FMLA andNon-FMLA leaves, including informing employees of their rights under FMLA, STD,and other Brightly policies and guidelines
• Collaboratewith the Training and Content team to create value-add training, guides, andtemplates for Management working through performance management, leave,employee relations, and other personnel scenarios
• Partnerwith P&O team to process employee file changes, terminations, resignations,etc. in the HRIS system
• Spendtime getting to know employees across all functions, learn about the uniquechallenges and opportunities within each team
• Identifygaps in processes or pain points and make recommendations on solutions
• Otherprojects and initiatives as needed
What You Need:
• Bachelor'sdegree in HR, Business, or related field
• Minimum5 years of HR Business Partner experience with heavy interest in employeerelations
• Comfortnavigating in the gray, listening to multiple perspectives, and making soundjudgement calls based on best practice, precedence, or legal requirements whennecessary
• Excellentverbal and written communication skills with a talent for balancing concisesummaries of key investigation findings verbally while creating detailoriented, fact-driven, non-editorial write-ups for documentation purposes
• Superiorprofessionalism with a clear understanding of what is HR confidential and whatcan be shared more openly
• Highcomfort level in providing respectful pushback, challenging outdated ways ofthinking or managing
• Experiencein Oracle Fusion, Workday, or other similar HRIS tools
• Technicalcompetence to quickly pick up a diverse HR tool set used for employeerecognition, surveys, and communication
• Competencein the Microsoft suite of productivity tools
• Growthmindset
• Callcenter experience is a plus
• Abilityto navigate a matrixed organization and leverage the resources that areinternally available
• Desireto want to roll up your sleeves and make a positive impact on the overallemployee experience

The actual wage offered maybe lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge,skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
