What you will do:
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals to foster an innovation and a collaborative work environment. Provide structure, guidance and support to ensure the team meets its objectives.
- Oversee or lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Maintain effective communication to manage expectations and facilitate change.
- Define, develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and team performance. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Develop, implement, and maintain project management standards and methodologies ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
- Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging industry best practices and technological solutions.
What you will need to succeed:
Experience and Knowledge
- Bachelor's or master's degree in project management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field and relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management and process improvement, with at least 3 years in a management/leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
- Understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, best practices and knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform development tools is preferred.
- Investment industry knowledge (products, systems, terminology) and experience is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent leadership, communication, adaptation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic, analytical, organized, with great problem-solving skills;
- Good knowledge and experience of Office 365.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English (English is required to communicate with staff in our other offices in Ontario and Saskatchewan);
- Available for occasional travel.
