What is the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of internal projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

You possess the leadership skills to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team. You are a team player, flexible and adaptable to changing business priorities. You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with staff and peers at all levels of the organization.

What you will do:
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals to foster an innovation and a collaborative work environment. Provide structure, guidance and support to ensure the team meets its objectives.
  • Oversee or lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Maintain effective communication to manage expectations and facilitate change.
  • Define, develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and team performance. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project management standards and methodologies ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
  • Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging industry best practices and technological solutions.

What you will need to succeed:

Experience and Knowledge
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in project management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field and relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management and process improvement, with at least 3 years in a management/leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, best practices and knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform development tools is preferred.
  • Investment industry knowledge (products, systems, terminology) and experience is preferred.

Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent leadership, communication, adaptation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic, analytical, organized, with great problem-solving skills;
  • Good knowledge and experience of Office 365.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English (English is required to communicate with staff in our other offices in Ontario and Saskatchewan);
  • Available for occasional travel.
