Introduction

The Bureau of District Attorney Information Technology (DA IT) is looking for an application developer!

This position will have the option of working remotely upon agreement of the supervisor but will be asked to come into the office periodically. This schedule may change based on operational needs and organizational requirement

Following DET's vision, the District Attorney Information Technology (DAIT) program provides IT services and support to over 1600 customer users in all of Wisconsin's 71 state prosecutor offices. Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the program Section Chief reporting to the District Attorney IT Director in the District Attorney Information Technology (DAIT) Program, this position provides software development for the program. This position has primary responsibility for the continued enhancement and maintenance of existing custom developed district attorney applications as well as contributions to the vision of the next generation of applications. This position provides analysis and design related to the program's justice information sharing web services in addition to the main application, PROTECT.

DAIT provides a full-service technology program for the State's prosecutors and their staff through provision of a statewide computer infrastructure and statewide case management system, PROTECT. DAIT represents the State in partnership with the Wisconsin District Attorney Association (WDAA) which represents the district attorneys in determining the business requirements and technical solutions the State will provide. This position requires close coordination with other DAIT staff, including DA business analysts and network technicians to ensure DA business requirements are met.

Salary Information

Starting hourly rate for the IS Systems Development Services Senior position will be between $29.27- $45.41 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. A 12-month probationary period may be required. This classification is assigned to pay schedule/range 07-34. Current State employees will be compensated in accordance with the current State Compensation Plan.

Due to the nature of the position, DOA will conduct fingerprinting and/or background checks on applicants prior to selection.

Qualifications

Minimally qualified candidates will have experience with the following:

Full stack development experience with .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, web services, Entity Framework, or similar.SQL Server experience such as database design, support, stored procedures, views, and/or trigger creation for applications or similar.In addition, well qualified candidates will have experience in:

Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum)DevOps tools and a general understanding of DevOps concepts (e.g., Azure)
