Job Description

SUMMARY : The Lead Count Room Team Member ensures the safeguarding of all acts as both a Supervisor and Team Member, overseeing the Count Team while the Supervisor is absent.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures compliance with company standards and Nevada gaming regulations.Ensures compliance to Nevada's minimum internal control standards and submittedCollect, count, verify and bind casino & hotel monies and accurately post results to calculate daily revenue.Interacts with external, internal, and/or gaming control board auditors.Maintains current working knowledge of all casino/hotel operations systems, count room equipment and machinery.Responsible for the conduct of the drop and count team in the absence of the Count Room Supervisor.Counts, verifies and records the contents of each drop box.Other related duties as assigned by Count Room Manager.Must exhibit the Family Style Service Model for all Guests and Team Members.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises the Count staff in the absence of the Count Room Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years or more years related experience in a casino, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to operate a 10-key, currency counter and coin sorter.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

REASONING ABILITY

Planning, remembering details, using arithmetic, reading, discriminating colors, working at various tempos, concentrating amid distractions, examining and observing details, directing others, making decisions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Standing for long periods of time, walking up to 6 hours, sitting up to 2 hours, reaching, kneeling, bending/stooping, carrying, pushing, pulling, turning, lifting up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Inside, noisy, heat.
