Responsibilities:Oversee all Human Resources functions in a supporting role to operations, including employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, career development and training; Development of Human Resources strategies, policies, and procedures in line with company strategic plan; Assist operating disciplines in meeting strategic goals through development and implementation of HR processes, procedures, policies, and programs. Ensure company compliance with federal and state employment regulations regarding employment law and record-keeping regulations; and actively participate with senior management in policy and procedure development and implementation. Operate HR Department as an efficient cost center, continuously working to reduce overhead costs and improve HR department's value-add to company's profit.Skills:Proven success in researching and applying industry and national benchmarking studies such as compensation packages including salary ranges, job descriptions, benefits; Possess a thorough knowledge of employee benefits including administration of retirement plans (PS/401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plans), health, disability, and life insurance; Ability to develop and execute company policies; Proven success in building high performance teams and act as a role model and mentor; Knowledge and practical use of HRIS, preferably Dynamics or similar program; Knowledge and practical use of the latest industry trends in HR outsourcing, employee benefits, web-based HR, and self-service HR trends; Ability to fully support operational business units in a cost effective and efficient manner; Works closely with President/CEO, Sector Presidents, CFO and CIO to achieve business goals; and Ability to read and analyze financial statements. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking experience.Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources or equivalent required; Master's Degree preferable.* PHR or SPHR Certification by Society of Human Resources Management and/or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred.* Minimum of 10 years' experience in Human Resources Management.* Experience within the Architecture/Engineering/Construction(A/E/C) industry preferred.* Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.Performance Expectations

Complete Annual Individual Training ProgramRecruit, hire, and manage a high-performance teamSubmit for approval and deliver timely annual Employee Performance Appraisals for assigned staffTrain adequate backup personnel to support your role in your absenceAttend monthly Administrative Managers' meetings, monthly town hall meetings, Manager's MeetingsComply with all KCI policies and proceduresConduct periodic office visits and address HR needs of remote employeesConsult with CEO and President on high level employment offers as requiredMeet annual Performance Agreements targetsMeet monthly or more frequently as necessary with the Discipline Managers and PresidentComplete other duties as required/assignedProvide input to CEO for strategic planRepresent KCI in a positive and professional manner in response to all employee inquiries and in all external mattersReview annual Employee Satisfaction Survey and implement required corrective actionsProvide information as requested for proposal submissionsEnsure effective use of facilities, equipment and personnelManage the daily work routine of all assigned employees and assign job activities as requiredOperate within specified (corporate or project) budget parametersDevelop annual HR budget and submit to CFO by November 1Provide direct oversight of all facets of human resources management including health and welfare benefitsReview and approve vendor invoicesServe as KCI's Affirmative Action Officer and develop annual plans (AAP or FAAP)Analyze and prepare semi-annual Turnover Report and Exit Interview Summary Report and review with CEO and PresidentAssist C-Suite executives with evaluation and successful integration of new employees obtained through KCI acquisitionsAssist managers with disciplinary actions per company policyConduct annual benchmarking survey of benefits programs and recommend changesConduct Annual Compensation Survey (as needed), analyze results, and report to CEO and PresidentConduct Annual Employee Survey, analyze results, and report to CEO and President/COOConsult with outside legal counsel as neededDevelop and oversee new hire orientation and onboarding processDevelop, submit for approval, and implement company HR policies and procedures, in accordance with all Federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsManage KCI's Sons & Daughters Scholarship ProgramManage performance appraisal processOversee HRIS/Payroll initiatives and activitiesPropose, organize, and manage ESOP activities to maximize employee engagementProvide guidance to managers and ensure KCI adheres to all Federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsRecommend and prepare severance agreementsRecommend, develop, and manage employee training programsReview and approve Educational Assistance RequestsSet strategic objectives and manage corporate wellness program initiatives and activities.KCI Technologies, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
