Job Summary

Under supervision of the Global Learning Hub (GLH) Executive Director, and in collaboration with GLH Leadership, the Director of Engagement and Enrollment Systems provides strategic leadership, policy compliance oversight and assessment for activity associated with:GLH program enrollment (including compliance with eligibility assessment policies, health and safety clearances).High level collaborative oversight of signature global learning events for students.Financial Aid administration (oversight of Grant/scholarship policies and implementation).Global Learning and enrollment advising (facilitating student global learning reflection, planning, and documentation).The Director also provides operational leadership for the enrollment team, directly supervising 6.5-8.5 FTE, and holds responsibility related to policy and budget development and oversight for the Enrollment and Outreach team, facilitation of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) objectives, and institutional relations on and off campus.In collaboration with the Executive Director, the Faculty Director, and other GLH Directors, the Director of Engagement and Enrollment Systems helps define, analyze and assess Global Learning Hub goals and manages resources to achieve targets for global learning programs. The Director is a member of the GLH leadership team, collaborates with Global Affairs leadership to assess needs, develop, administer, and support campus global education initiatives consistent with the goals and priorities of the Global Affairs Strategic Plan, the Global Education for All (GE4A) initiative, the campus global strategy, and the campus DEIB strategy. Works with the Global Affairs leadership team on building and maintaining an internal and external network of partners, including campus partners, partner institutions and national organizations.Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate degree or equivalent in international education, business administration, or another relevant field, and at least 3 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in areas of higher education administrative resource management, including human resources, budget and finance, technology, and organizational problem solving.Strategic planning and program evaluation experience to provide sound recommendations and examine work processes and organizational structures for development or revision to accommodate change requirements.Supervisory experience and skills to recruit, train, evaluate, coach, mentor and motivate staff.Experience leading university/global engagement programs and developing systems that equitably serve diverse student populations.Experience setting goals and objectives, developing quantifiable measurements, motivating and managing others, and prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and requirements.Direct experience in at least one of these areas: developing study abroad enrollment and operations policies based on familiarity with relevant campus, state and national regulations, academic advising in higher education, or student grant-making and financial aid processes.Familiarity with Slate or other CRMs such as TerraDotta, Horizons, Salesforce, etc. and analytical skills to research, pull, and utilize data to problem solve, make recommendations, and to present data orally and in writing.Preferred Qualifications

Expertise working with Slate or other CRMs such as TerraDotta, Horizons, Salesforce, etc.At least 3 years of global education management experience in a university context.Direct experience in more than one of these areas: developing study abroad enrollment and operations policies based on familiarity with relevant campus, state and national regulations; academic advising in higher education; or student grant-making and financial aid processes.Experience living, studying and/or working in another country or culture, developing knowledge of a wide variety of countries, cultures, and educational systems.Key Responsibilities
