Every one of our 'ohana needs to feel aloha and genuinely extend aloha to all, be they guests or colleagues, strangers or friends.The Area Director of Engineering will be the visionary leader responsible for overseeing and driving the Engineering operation for both OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort and OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach Resort. This role provides functional leadership overseeing hotel projects as well as develops and supports both Engineering Managers with their day to day operation.Minimum Requirements:Minimum ten (10) years of hotel facilities management experience including a minimum of four (4) different properties and at least two (2) different brands.Corporate Headquarters, regional team and market leadership will be considered as a brand experience.Working knowledge of all trades and complete understanding and practice of Engineering SOPs.In-depth knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems, carpentry, paint, and vinyl expertise, and Life Safety Systems.Experience managing and operating a central plant and construction of CEP projects.Knowledge of ADA, OSHA and environmental requirements of EPA, CFC, toxic waste, recycling and engineering SOPs.High school diploma required; College degree preferred.Facilities Certification of CEOE, IFMA, or FMA preferred.Come Work Here!Compensation & Benefits:$108,000-$118,000, with potential for adjustment based on factors such as an applicant’s skills, experience and/or education.Health Insurance (Dental, Medical, Prescription, Vision)Paid Holidays, Sick, Vacation and Medical LeaveRetirement Plan (401K)Recognition and Award ProgramsEmployee Assistance ProgramDiscounted Hotel RatesAnd many opportunities for growth through our training and development programs!
