Events and Summer ProgramsJob Summary:Reporting to the Associate Director of Events and Summer Programs, the Assistant Director will assist the team with responsibilities of coordination, promotion, and executing of major academic year events including Commencement, Family Weekend, Convocation, and Honors Day. The Assistant Director will work directly with faculty in planning academic symposia, as well as campus-wide lectures and concerts.Additionally, the Assistant Director will work with both the Associate Director of Events & Summer Programs as well as the Director of Campus Services to coordinate revenue-generating programs, focusing primarily on non-academic events such as sports camps, single-day meetings, multi-day conferences, memorials, weddings, receptions, and dinners by community organizations and professional associations.
