As of March 31, 2024, the Kairos team has transacted on $4.2 billion of real estate, including over 25,000 multifamily units and 23 million square feet of commercial property nationwide.Job Summary:Kairos Investment Management Company is seeking an Investor Relations Director, Capital Raising to join our Investor Relations Business Development Team. The role will be largely focused on strategizing and fundraising from RIA across the country as well as UHNW clients and large Family Offices. This role requires a highly driven individual with a charismatic and likeable personality, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to develop strong personal trusting relationships. This role will report to the executive team.Job Responsibilities
:Support directly and indirectly fundraising and relationship managementDevelop, successfully manage and execute a productive capital raising process focused on RIAs and UHNW clientsFoster existing and new relationships through outbound and inbound business development efforts and networkingExecute investor meetings independently and with the support of senior firm personnelCoordinate meeting follow up and execute pipeline management throughout the capital raising processProvide investor support and client service to existing investorsManage and maintain CRM system (Juniper Square) to ensure complete and consistent investor informationCoordinate, prepare, and respond to investor requests and questionsCommunicate effectively marketing materials and fund strategies to potential clientsOther duties as assigned by managementMentor and develop junior business development staff on day-to-day projectsQualifications & Competencies:Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business administration, finance, or related field5-10+ years of experience at an investment management, asset management, wealth management, investment consulting, or financial services firm with a period of direct fundraising experienceCFA, CAIA, and/or MBA preferredFINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses requiredPolished and professional written and oral communication skillsWell-organized and detail-oriented individual with the highest degree of integrity, motivation, and intellectual curiosityGifted networker and connector of influential peopleSkilled in working with large RIAs and sophisticated Family Office infrastructures which requires significant collaboration and influence skillsExceptional time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure and respond to shifting prioritiesExcellent judgment with the ability to handle confidential information with discretionUp to 75% travel may be requiredCompensation:The annual U.S. based wage range for this full-time position is $175,000-$250,000 annually plus success-based bonus potential of up to 100%+. The base pays actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location and experience and will take into account internal equity. Other forms of pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of health & wellness benefits.
